PULLMAN, Wash (September 9, 2026) – Washington State women’s volleyball will play three matches in Seattle this weekend, taking on Lipscomb Friday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m., Southern Utah Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m., and then Washington Sunday, Sept. 13 at 2 p.m.
Friday and Saturday’s matches will be played in Alaska Airlines Arena on the University of Washington Campus, while Saturday’s match will be played in the Redhawk Center at Seattle U. Saturday’s match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ while Sunday’s match will be live streamed on B1G+. Friday’s match will not have a live stream available.

The Cougars head west with one of the top defenses in the country, currently ranking second in the nation in blocks per set (3.61) and opponent hitting percentage (.077). WSU is coming off a battle with no. 25 Oregon last weekend
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the first time that the WSU volleyball program will be facing either Lipscomb or Southern Utah. Sunday will be against a much more familiar opponent, heading into their 80th meeting all-time, with UW leading the series 57-22. The last Cougar victory over UW came on a 3-0 sweep on the final regular season match of the 2023 season. Washington has won the last two meetings since then, one match in each 2024 and 2025.
