PULLMAN, Wash. (September 3, 2026) – Washington State women’s volleyball follows up a strong opening weekend with its first road trip of the season, heading to Eugene, Ore. for a Saturday neutral match with LIU at 4 p.m. before taking on the Ducks Sunday at 12 p.m. noon. Sunday’s match will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network. While Saturday’s match won’t be streamed, there will be live stats available via StatBroadcast.
ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE
After a strong 17-11 finish last year in Head Coach Korey Schroeder’s second season as head coach, The Cougars came out to a strong start in 2026, going 3-0 in their opening weekend, defeating Omaha (3-0), Montana (3-1) and Central Michigan (3-0). WSU brings back six returners from the 2025 squad to go with the team’s ten incoming transfers and one true freshman.
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday will be the first meeting with LIU all-time for the WSU volleyball program. Meanwhile, Oregon is a familiar foe for the Cougars who lead the all-time series 39-35 ahead of their 75th matchup.

The Cougars' home court, Bohler Gym, is the premier volleyball-only venue on the West Coast. Its dominating home-court atmosphere has led to a .637 winning percentage (313-178) since 1991, and a .580 winning percentage (373-270) dating back to WSU Volleyball's first varsity season in 1976.

11 of Wazzu’s 17 players on the roster are new additions this year, and each of the six returners from last season are entering just their second season with the program.
