On September 18, Fort Lauderdale United hosted Dallas Trinity FC. Mace started and played 60 minutes before being subbed, likely to prevent injury after coming off injured last week. Dallas got the first two goals in the 32nd and 46th minutes. Lauderdale got one back in the 59th minute, with a goal from Gordon, to make it 2-1 at the end.

The Spirit traveled to Illinois to take on the Chicago Stars. Trinity started and played the full 90 minutes. Rodman struck early, scoring in the seventh minute with a left-footed shot from the left center of the box into the top left corner of the goal. The Spirit continued with another goal in the 34th minute with a penalty from Sullivan. To top off a dominant performance, Bolt added another in the 85th minute on a Rodman cross, making it 3-0. Rodman had four shots, with two on target, and created two big chances

Back at home this week, the Ascent took on Brooklyn FC on Saturday. Tappan started and played the full 90 minutes. Shea Groom scored the first and only goal in the 63rd minute, giving the Ascent a 1-0 win and keeping them at the top of the table, five points clear of second-place Sporting Jax.

On September 19, the Thorns travel away to Orlando for week 25. The Thorns take an early lead in the third minute with a goal from Nijstad, then double it in the 20th minute on a penalty by Wilson. Orlando struck back just two minutes later in the 30th minute with a goal from Lemos. The Thorns went into halftime up 2-1. Weaver was subbed in the 53rd minute and scored her first goal since November 1, 2024, in the 74th minute with a crazy shot from way outside the box into the top right corner. The Thorns bagged one more goal in the 88th, making it a 4-1 road win.
