PULLMAN, WASH. – The Washington State men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana, for the John McNichols Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
The No. 21 Cougar women compete in the 6-kilometer championship race at 6:30 a.m. PT, followed by the men’s 8-kilometer championship race at 7:05 a.m PT. The WSU men step into the starting box as the No. 11 team in the nation.
The Cougars will compete against a large field that includes Air Force, Florida, Georgia, Harvard, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, Northern Arizona, Purdue, Washington and Wisconsin. The men’s field also includes BYU, Portland, Stanford and Utah State, while the women’s field features Boston College, Navy and Utah.
