SAN BRUNO, Calif. (May 7, 2026) – Two Washington State student-athletes, led by two-time selection Ben Borgida, were named to the 2026 West Coast Conference Men's Golf All-Academic teams, the conference announced Thursday.
Borgida was named to the WCC All-Academic Team, while Dylan Burcham was named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Borgida, a redshirt-junior from Shoreline, Wash., carries a 3.96 GPA as a biology major. A President's Honor Roll member, this marks the second-straight season Borgida was named to the WCC All-Academic team. He was also a 2024 Pac-12 Academic Spring Honor Roll member and twice named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District team. This season he has played in 10 events, posting a 73.07 scoring average, with five rounds in the 60s.
Burcham, a sophomore from Valencia, Calif., carries a 3.26 grade point average as a finance major. This season, he competed in 10 tournaments, registering a 73.29 scoring average, which includes capturing medalist honors at the season-opening Palouse Collegiate last September.
