For the Roses' home opener on May 2 played Vancouver. Bennett scored in the 12th minute of the match and played 67 minutes before getting subbed off. Montréal won 4-0 and is now in first place after the two match weeks.

Trinity Rodman | F | NWSL |  Washington Spirit

On Wednesday, April 29, the Spirit played Racing Louisville, and Trinity started and played the full 90 minutes. She scored the game-winner in the 15th minute of the game, leading the Washington Spirit to the win. Rodman played again on May 2 against the Orlando Pride, getting two assists in the 2nd and 6th minutes. In the second half, she capped her performance off with a goal in the 70th minute. Trinity played 81 minutes before getting subbed off. The Spirit beat Orlando 4-2, earning them second place in the league in match week eight.

Fort Lauderdale played Tampa Bay on May 2, where Mace started the game and played 90 minutes before getting subbed off in the first minute of stoppage time. United ultimately lost 2-1 to Tampa Bay.

Studer is out with a season-ending knee injury.

On Saturday, May 2, the Zephyr played second-place Lexington S.C. Tappan started and played the full 90 of the 0-0 draw. 

Morgan Weaver | F | NWSL | Portland Thorns F.C. 

Weaver is currently on the injury reserve and expected to return in the summer. Are now at the top of the NWSL table after a nine-point week.
