LOWELL, Ore. (May 2, 2026) Washington State women's rowing battled it out on the water Saturday afternoon with tight racing and a win for the 3V8 against Oregon State.

"Thanks to Oregon State for hosting us," said Head Coach Jane LaRiviere. "The weather cooperated and the team took a couple of steps in the right direction. The 2V8 had a very gutsy race and I was proud of them. Kudos to the 3V8 for their win, it was a come from behind victory and the dev squad really stepped up today."

The Cougars placed first with ease in the 3V8 with a time of 7:12.30, ahead of Oregon State (7:21.29). The Beavers started strong trying to keep up, but WSU was able to pull away over the final 500 meters.

WSU kept the 2V8 tight, finishing with a time of 6:45.11, less than a second behind Oregon State (6:44.40). The Cougs finished second in the 1V8 with a time of 6:45.42 behind Oregon State (6:35.00).
