PULLMAN, Wash. (May 14, 2026) – Washington State women's rowing sophomore Lis Ana Johansen was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic team while 13 other Cougars earned Honorable Mention.
Elle Donohue, Sam Eden, Ava Jared, Wendy Kissinger, Megan van Leeuwen, Vera Lichvarcik, Lucy Munro, Phoebe Nagy, Jaeve Proberts, Elsie Talbot, Harriet Thompson, Freddy Todhunter, Sara Torres were all named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Lis Ana Johansen – Psychology, 3.95 GPA
Johansen was a staple in the Cougar 1V8 all spring, earning her way after success in the 2V8 shell during fall head racing that saw a pair of third-place finishes and a sixth-place finish. This spring she has helped the 1V8 to a couple of second-place finishes, a fourth-place finish the first day of the Big Ten Invite, and a trio of fifth-place finishes at the San Diego Crew Classic and day two of the Big Ten Invite.
