PULLMAN, Wash. (April 18, 2026) – Washington State Football continued its spring practice schedule Saturday with an hour-long scrimmage on Gesa Field.

In a format similar to last Saturday's practice, the Cougars went roughly 40 plays of live scrimmage as well as a thud portion at the end. During the live scrimmage, the offensive struck first as Caden Pinnick and Maxwell Woods connected on a 9-yard touchdown pass on the day's first series.  The defense took control in the next few series, as Malijah Tucker, Paul Hutson III and Linus Zunk each recorded a sack.

Kicker Jack Stevens connected on two field goals and Miguel Arenas had one to close out the scoring of the live portion.

During the thud part of the day, Pinnick connected with Hudson Cedarland on a scoring pass while the day ended with Owen Eshelman finding Jay Ported in the end zone.

Following practice, Head Coach Kirby Moore, running back Maxwell Woods and safety Jeremiah Bernard met with the media. Those interviews can be found HERE.

The Cougars continue spring drills Tuesday morning on Rogers Field.
