PULLMAN, Wash. (April 11, 2026) – Washington State Football continued its spring practice schedule Saturday with an hour-long scrimmage on Gesa Field.
Practicing on Gesa Field for the first time this spring, the Cougs went through some live tackling as well as thud scrimmage sessions. Both sides of the ball had highlights with the offense connecting on a pair of touchdown passes when Owen Eshelman found Tank Hawkins for a score, while Julian Dugger ended the day by hitting Jack Pedersen in the corner of the end zone for another touchdown.
On the other side of the ball Head Coach Kirby Moore singled out the play of the defensive line while in the secondary, Jaylen Thomas intercepted a pass in the end zone to end another offensive threat.
