PULLMAN, Wash. (Sept. 8, 2025) – The Washington State men's golf team opens it's 2025-26 season by hosting the Palouse Collegiate, Sept. 9-10, at Palouse Ridge Golf Club. This marks the second-straight season the Cougars have opened their season by hosting the Palouse Collegiate.
The Course and Tournament Format
The Palouse Collegiate will be held at the 7,302-yard, par-71 Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman.
Teams will play 36 holes Tuesday followed by 18 on Wednesday. The shotgun start format begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday, with Wednesday's start beginning at 7:45 a.m.

The Field
Along with Washington State, the 12-team field includes Boise State, Colorado, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Idaho, Oregon State, Pacific, SIU Edwardsville, San Jose State, Santa Clara and Seattle.
Cougars at Palouse Collegiate
Since 2009, the Cougars have captured the Palouse Collegiate team title seven times, most recently three-straight from 2015-17, when the event was the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate. In that same span, the individual medalists honors were captured by a Cougar player six times.
