SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced Washington State's 2025-26 men's basketball weekly conference matchup schedule. The Cougars will play 18 WCC games over 10 weeks, beginning December 28. In addition, WSU announced game times for its six nonconference home games.
Washington State will play seven home-and-away series with two only-home opponents and two only-away opponents to make up the 18-game conference schedule. Wazzu will begin its second season as an affiliate member of the WCC at Portland, Sunday, December 28. The Cougars will visit new conference member Seattle U, Tuesday, December 30 in the Emerald City.
The Cougars' first home game of the conference schedule is slated for Friday, January 2, hosting LMU at Beasley Coliseum. WSU concludes the weekend with the first of two meetings against Oregon State, Sunday, January 4 at home. The final conference game with a definitive date is Saturday, January 10, when WSU visits Moraga, California to face Saint Mary's.
The remaining 13 WCC games have a tentative date range following the West Coast Conference's new scheduling format that includes conference games primarily contested on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and date flexibility with national television partners to provide more exposure for the conference on additional days of the week.
Weekday games will be played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, and weekend games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. The full schedule of game dates along with broadcast information will be announced later this fall, following the completion of national television selections with the conference's partners, ESPN and CBS Sports Network.
The Cougars will host Gonzaga between Tuesday, January 13 and Thursday, January 15 before visiting San Francisco over the weekend, January 17 or 18. San Diego will host Wazzu between January 20 and January 22 for a weeknight game.
WSU will return to Beasley Coliseum to host Pepperdine the weekend of January 24, beginning a three-game homestand. The following week, January 27-29, the Cougars host Seattle U for the return leg of the season series. Portland will visit the Palouse, January 31 or February 1.
Washington State visits Corvallis, Oregon to face the Beavers, February 3-5, for a weeknight contest, before returning home to host Santa Clara over the weekend, February 7 or 8.
The Cougars will travel north to Spokane to tip off against Gonzaga between Tuesday, February 10 and Thursday, February 12.
After a weekend bye, the Cougs host Pacific, February 17-19, in the penultimate regular season home game. WSU's final home game will be Saturday, February 21 or Sunday, February 22 against Saint Mary's for Senior Day.
Wazzu concludes the season on the road at LMU, February 24-26, and at Pepperdine, Saturday, February 28 or Sunday, March 1.
The 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship returns to Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the 18th consecutive year. The 12-team tournament will be held from March 5-10, 2026.
The Cougars also announced tip off times for their six nonconference games. WSU begins the season hosting Idaho, Monday, November 3 at 6:30 p.m. The following Monday, WSU welcomes St. Thomas (Minn.) at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, November 14 the Cougs will host the Huskies at 8 p.m. The following Wednesday WSU faces Southern Utah at 8 p.m. In the month of December, WSU will host Nevada, Sunday, December 7 at 2 p.m. The home nonconference schedule concludes Saturday, December 20 against Mercer at 2 p.m.
