MADISON, Wisc. (September 15, 2025) – Washington State Women's Golf freshman
Kaitlyn Helm remained atop the leaderboard after posting a second-round one-under 71on day two for the Badger Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin Monday.

Helm enters Tuesday's final round tied with Caroline McConnell from Bradley who fired a three-under 69 and Sydney Hackett from Western Kentucky who fired a four-under 68 to catch the Cougar freshman at seven-under through the first 36 holes.

Helm, a freshman from Phoenix, recorded three birdies and just two bogeys throughout the round, posting a 35 on the front nine and 36 on back to head into Tuesday's final round looking for her first career title in just her second collegiate event.

Hannah Harrison sits tied for 29th while sophomore
Grace Rubelsky enters Tuesday tied for 34th.

The Cougars enter Tuesday's final round in sixth place at 10-over, just three strokes behind Iowa and six strokes ahead of hosts Wisconsin.

The Course and Tournament Format
The tournament is held at the University Ridge Golf Course.

The course plays as a par-72 at 6,297 yards.
Teams will play 18 holes Tuesday beginning at 7 a.m. (PT).

In addition to Washington State and hosts Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Denver, Delaware, Sam Houston, St. Thomas, South Dakota State, Bradley, Colorado State, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan and Wisconsin-Green Bay make up the 14-team field.
