PULLMAN, Wash. (Sept. 12, 2025) – Cougar Cross country will continue their season at home for their second race of the season, the Cougar Classic. The race will take place at Colfax Golf Club with the women's 6k race starting at 5 pm, and the men's 8k race starting at 5:45 pm.
In addition to Washington State, participating school include Central Washington, Eastern Washignton, Gonzaga, Lewis-Clark, Montana, Seattle U, Spokane CC, Walla Walla, and Whitworth
Admission is free and parking will be available at McDonald Park. For up-to-date information, follow WSU Cross Country on social media.

Rosemary Longisa smashed the event record in her first collegiate cross country race with a 4k time of 12 minutes and 54.4 seconds

Evans Kurui also set an event record in the 6k with a time of 16 minutes and 44.3 seconds, 15 seconds ahead of second place finisher,
