Eliana Ti’a Named WCC Freshman Player of the Week

PULLMAN, Wash. (Sept. 1, 2025) – Washington State volleyball freshman outside hitter Eliana Ti'a was named the West Coast Conference Freshman Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

Ti'a came out of the gates hot in the opening three games of the weekend, two of which were against top-25 teams in the nation. She totaled 29 kills for an average of 2.9 kills per set, 16 digs and six total blocks for 36.5 total points.

Ti'a had a high of 13 kills against No. 24 Dayton and also had four assists and four services aces over the weekend.

The Cougars continue their non-conference slate next weekend at the GCU Classic, taking on Northern Arizona on Friday, Grand Canyon on Saturday, and East Texas A&M on Sunday.
