PULLMAN, Wash. (August 11, 2025) – Thirteen Washington State Cougars continue their playing career throughout professional baseball including two in the big leagues.
                                                                           
 
Kyle Manzardo | DH | Cleveland Guardians
In 100 games with the Guardians this season, Manzardo is hitting .244 with 14 doubles, two triples, 20 home runs and 52 RBI to go along with 34 runs scored and one stolen base.
 
Ryan Walker | RHP | San Francisco Giants
In 50 appearances, all out of the bullpen for the Giants, Walker is 4-4 with 10 saves and seven holds with 46 strikeouts in 46.2 innings.
 
Ian Hamilton | RHP | New York Yankees (Triple – A)
Hamilton made 36 appearances with the Yankees, going 2-1 with four holds, a .201 batting average against and 42 strikeouts in 40 innings. Hamilton was optioned to Triple-A Scranton in early August and has made three appearances.
 
Jonah Advincula | OF | Cleveland (Double – A)
In 55 games played for the High-A Lake County Captains to start the season, Advincula hit .278 with 44 hits including five doubles, four triples, five home runs, 23 RBI, 29 runs scored and 26 of 34 in stolen bases. Advincula was promoted to Double-A Akron in late June, has appeared in 27 games, recorded 15 hits with four doubles, nine RBI, 10 runs scored and is 10-for-10 in stolen base attempts.
 
A.J. Block | LHP | Los Angeles Angels | Double – A
In 21 appearances, all out of the bullpen for the High-A Tri-City Dust Devils earlier this season, Block had 10 saves with 39 strikeouts and 1.82 ERA in 29.2 innings. Block was promoted to Double-A Rocket City in late June and has made 12 appearances with one start, one hold and struck out 26 in 21.1 innings.
 
Sam Brown | INF | Washington Nationals | Double – A
In 99 games played in Double-A, Brown his hitting .258 with 85 hits including 13 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 44 RBI and 37 runs scored. Brown was part of a trade in late July, going from the Los Angeles Angels to the Washington Nationals.
 
Zane Mills | RHP | St. Louis | Double – A
In 24 appearances in 2025 including two for Memphis (Triple – A) and 22 for the Springfield Cardinals (Double – A), Mills owns four holds, a 4-4 record, one save and 43 strikeouts in 44.2 innings.
 
Dakota Hawkins | RHP | New York Mets | High – A
Hawkins has made 20 appearances this season, 17 for the High-A team, one for the Double-A team and two for the Triple-A team. The righthander is currently with the Brookyln Cyclones (High – A), is 2-2 with one save and two holds in 17 appearances out of the bullpen with 38 strikeouts and a .183 batting average against in 32.2 innings.
 
Brandon White | RHP | Miami | High – A
In 19 appearances including eight starts for the Beloit Sky Carp, White is 6-3 with two holds, one save and 52 strikeouts in 70 innings.
 
Will Cresswell | C | Toronto | Rookie Affiliate
Cresswell was drafted in the 18th round by the Toronto Blue Jays and has been assigned to FCL Blue Jays, the rookie affiliate.
 
Duke Brotherton | RHP | Tri-City | Frontier Independent League
In 17 appearances including three starts for Tri-City in New York, Brotherton is 3-2 with one save and 24 strikeouts in 40.1 innings.
 
Grant Taylor | RHP | Glacier | Pioneer Independent League
In 14 starts for Glacier in Montana, Taylor owns five wins with 89 strikeouts in 82 innings.
 
Jacob Morrow | C | Cleburne | American Independent League
In 27 games for Cleburne in Texas, Morrow has 14 hits with three doubles, nine RBI and seven runs scored.
 
Connor Wilford | RHP | Tri-City | Frontier Independent League
In 12 appearances including 11 starts for Tri-City in New York, Wilford is 7-2 with 47 strikeouts and a 3.68 ERA in 71 innings.
