Pullman, Wash. (July 22, 2025) – Washington State women's rowing graduate
Jess Schneider, coming off her senior season at WSU, will be competing in the 2025 World University Games in Germany this week.
Schneider will be representing the United States when she rows in the women's 4- on Friday, July 25 and Sunday, July 27.
"Competing in the World University Games means that I get to not only represent Washington State, but the USA on an international level," said Schneider. "It's been amazing training with these 12 other women in Ypsilanti, Michigan for the past month and we are so excited to head to Germany!"
Schneider was a four-year letterwinner with WSU rowing where she raced in all eight events in her senior season and placed third overall in the 1V8 at the WCC Championships (5/16-17) Grand Final.
She also finished fourth in the 1V8 at the Lake Wheeler Invitational (4/25-26) ahead of No. 24 North Carolina, and placed second in the 1V8 at the Winchell Cup (4/5) and second in the 2V8 at the Fawley Cup (4/19). Schneider finished third in the 1V8 at the Head of the Spokane (10/19), fourth in the 1V8 at the Head of the American (10/26) and fourth in the 1V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic (3/30).
