KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Washington State men's basketball earned the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, for achieving a team grade point average of 3.21 over the 2024-25 academic year. In addition, three individual Coug student-athletes were named to the NABC Honors Court, seniors
Cedric Coward,
Dane Erikstrup, and
Ethan Price.
The Cougar men boasted their highest cumulative fall semester GPA in program history, part of WSU Athletics highest cumulative student-athlete GPA in department history. Coward, a senior with a 3.26 GPA in general studies; Erikstrup, a senior with a 3.68 in data analytics; and
Ethan Price, a senior with a 3.36 general studies degree all earned recognition on the NABC Honors Court.
The honor includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball student-athletes who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
