Volleyball Signs Two More for 2025

PULLMAN, Wash. (May 30, 2025) – Washington State women's volleyball Head Coach Korey Schroeder and the staff have announced the addition of two more incoming transfers for the 2025 season.

Kate Hayhurst | 6-3 | Opposite | Eagle, Idaho (Kansas)
Hayhurst is an opposite who transfers to the Palouse from Kansas where she spent the spring after signing there out of Eagle High School in Eagle, Idaho in November. She played volleyball her freshman season at Eagle HS before committing to her club team full time, Idaho Crush where she helped the program win four qualifier tournaments.

Coach Schroeder on Kate Hayhurst: "Kate is a great addition to Washington State Volleyball and a freshmen class that we're already excited about. She's a well-rounded player that passed and played six rotations at the highest level of club, which is rare for an opposite. Kate is coachable, a great teammate, and eager to continue developing as a person and athlete."


Camryn Lingenbrink | 6-1 | MB | Poulsbo, Wash. (Tulsa)
Lingenbrink in a graduate transfer who comes to Pullman from Tulsa where she played each of the last three seasons. In her junior campaign last season in 2024, she averaged 2.01 points, 1.56 kills and 0.69 blocks per set. Before that, she had a strong sophomore season in 2023 in which she finished 15th in The American Conference with 0.95 blocks per set and was second on the team with 80 total blocks and a .260 hitting percentage.

Prior to Tulsa, she played volleyball at Central Kitsap High School where she helped lead her team as a sophomore to placing seventh in state.

Coach Schroeder on Camryn Lingenbrink: "Cam has a great energy about her that you notice right away, and she is a driven individual who brings a lot of collegiate playing experience. She completed her undergraduate degree in just three years and now has an opportunity to finish her career back in her home state."
