Sam Renner Named to All-WCC Men’s Golf Team

SAN BRUNO, Calif. (April 29, 2025) – Washington State junior Sam Renner was named to the 2025 All-West Coach Conference Men's Golf Team, the conference announced Tuesday.
Renner is enjoying the best season of his Cougar career with a 70.45 season scoring average, tops in program history, five Top-10 and eight Top-25 finishes following the WCC Championships last weekend. Renner's season includes back-to-back tournament victories in the fall, the first time in program history a player has captured back-to-back medalist honors.
Additionally, Renner has shot par-or-better in 24 of his 33 rounds, including 14 rounds in the 60's. Ranked No. 99 in the most recent national rankings, he and the Cougars will learn their postseason fate Wednesday during the 2025 NCAA Men's Golf Championships Selection Show.
