PULLMAN, Wash. (April 2, 2025) – Washington State Volleyball has announced its summer camp dates and opened registration for the three camps to be held on campus in June and July.
The Cougs are set to host Youth and Intermediate camps (June 24-25), a College Prep Camp (July 8-9), a Team Camp (July 9-12), and an All-Skills Camp (July 13-15).
The Youth Camp is for boys and girls entering first through fourth grades, and will be from 8:30- 9:30am each day in Bohler Gym, June 24 and 25. This day camp provides a fun opportunity for young volleyball players to learn the fundamentals of the game.
The Intermediate Camp is for boys and girls entering fifth through eighth grades, and will be held June 24 and 25 in Bohler Gym. This day camp will focus on all aspects of the game with emphasis on fundamental skill development from the beginner to the more experienced players.
The College Prep Camp is open to athletes entering grades 9 - 12, and will be held July 8-9. This camp offers a great opportunity for athletes to raise their skill level in a highly competitive setting and experience what it is like to play at Washington State University. A majority of the training will be focused on skill development specific to your designated position.
The Team Camp is open to both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. This camp is designed to give high school teams the opportunity to practice together in a collegiate atmosphere. WSU provides one coach who is a current or former WSU player or Camp staff member for each school. The primary focus of the camp is competition and team concepts. Camp is concluded with the High School Team Tournament July 11-12.
The Individual All Skills Camp is open to girls entering grades 7-12, and will be held July 13-15. This camp is a great opportunity for athletes to raise their skill level in a highly competitive setting and experience what it is like to play at Washington State University. This camp will focus the majority of the training on development of good all around volleyball skills. Here at WSU we train all of our players in ball control, serving, using hands regardless of position.
