Caroline Jepkorir Sets 3000m Steeplechase School Record

| By:
AZUSA, California – Washington State Track and Field freshman Caroline Jepkorir broke the WSU school record in the 3000m Steeplechase Wednesday evening at the Bryan Clay Invitational at the Azusa Pacific Track.

Jepkorir, in just her third collegiate steeplechase, blazed to a time of 10-minutes, 5.60 seconds, more than two seconds faster than WSU's previous record holder Caroline Jerotich, who ran a 10:07.70 in Sacramento, Calif., in 2023.
