SPOKANE, Wash. (April 11, 2025) – Washington State graduate student
Maxwell Moore captured the men's discus event in a personal-best throw of 56.40 meters, one of 13 events wins on the day, to highlight the Cougars day at the Jeff Rahn Classic Friday at Boppell Track.

In addition to the 13 event wins, Cougar student-athletes four NCAA Division I Top 100 marks, 21 personal bests and 10 additional season bests.

Moore's PR throw came on his second attempt that reached 56.40 meters, 185-feet, 0 inches, nearly 12 feet better than his previous season best. Sophomore
Brooke Lyons was the lone double winner on the day, capturing the 100m (11.63 seconds) and 200m (23.43) titles, the latter marking the nation's 43rd-best time this season.

Additional track event winners included:
Micaiah Aden in the men's 3000m,
Parker Duskin in the 110m Hurdles,
Bryson Stubblefield in the 100m,
Grant Buckmiller in the 200m and
Jaylyn Lehner in the women's 5000m. Stubblefield's time of 10.45 in the 100m marked the nation's 69th-fastest time this season.

Laura Lindquist in the hammer throw,
A.J. McGloflin in the men's high jump,
Gavin Dimick in the pole vault,
Alexandra Gustavel in the women's high jump,
Nevaeh Wilson in the women's discus, joining men's discus winner Moore.
