Bradley Topples Cougs in Final Moments

PEORIA, Ill. (Hayden Wysup) – The Washington State men's basketball (3-6) lost to Bradley, 60-64, Tuesday night at Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois. The Cougars were led by four double-digit scorers, including freshman Ace Glass with a team-high 15 points and junior Eemeli Yalaho with his second career double-double.
 
Player Performances – Ace Glass led the team with 15 points and four rebounds, marking his sixth-consecutive game scoring in double figures. Eemeli Yalaho tallied 10 points and 11 rebounds, matching his career high, and delivering his second double-double in the last five games. ND Okafor added 10 points and six rebounds, leading the Cougs with eight first-half points. Tomas Thrastarson matched Okafor with 10 points and six rebounds, one board shy of his career high.
 
Inside the Stat Sheet – While the Cougars held the Braves to 35.5 percent shooting, Bradley forced WSU into 20 turnovers, scoring 23 points off the Wazzu mistakes. The Cougs scored a season-low four points off of an opponent season-low seven turnovers.
 
Turning Points – The teams traded runs throughout the contest with nine lead changes and five ties. Neither side led by double digits, but the Cougs took a 3-point lead with 90 seconds remaining. The Braves closed the game on a 7-0 run, clinching the final lead with 19 seconds left.
