SAN FRANCISCO (December 18, 2025) – Three Washington State Cougars were named Pac-12 Conference Top Performers following standout regular seasons in 2025, the conference office announced Thursday.

Parker McKenna was named the top defensive performance, junior defensive end
Isaac Terrell was named the top defensive line performer and junior punt returner
Tony Freeman was the top special teams performer in 2025.

McKenna started all 12 games and led the Cougars with 83 tackles and added five tackles-for-loss including a pair of sacks. The Beaverton, Ore. native also picked off a pass, recovered a fumble and broke up a pass. McKenna recorded three double-digit tackle efforts including 10 in the win at Colorado State, 12 at fourth-ranked Ole Miss and 10 along with an interception in the win over Toledo.

Terrell appeared in 11 games, five as a starter, and tallied 28 tackles while posting team-highs of 12 tackles-for-loss and seven sacks. The Lehi, Utah native also forced one fumble and recorded six quarterback hurries. Terrell's first career sack was a safety in the win over San Diego State and added another sack in the Apple Cup before erupting for four tackles-for-loss including a pair of sacks at fourth-ranked Ole Miss, the most tackles-for-loss by a Coug since 2017. Terrell closed the regular season with a career-high six tackles including 1.5 for loss in the win over Oregon State.

Freeman appeared in all 12 games, making seven starts at receiver while averaging 16.8 yards-per-punt return, the sixth-best average in the country. The Richmond, Calif. native recorded seven punt returns of 20+plus yards and was third nationally with five returns for 40+ yards. Freeman added 51 catches for 557 yards and three touchdowns. Freeman had a 42-yard punt return in the win over Colorado State, had a 47-yard return at Oregon State and a 58-yard return in the win over Louisiana Tech. Freeman closed the regular season with a WSU single-game record 169 punt return yards in the win over Oregon State, recorded a 43-yard and 59-yard return in the win.
