SPOKANE, Washington –
Lindsay Siebert wins the 800-meter race while other Cougs battle at the Spokane Invitational. Four Cougs traveled to compete at the Spokane Invitational, Saturday afternoon, posting times competitive with the competition.
In the Men's 800-meter race, brothers Ferran and Ricard Verges finished in second and fourth, respectively. Ferran ran a time of 1 minute and 53.74 seconds, while his younger brother finished in 1 minute and 56.86 seconds.
Lindsay Siebert had the sole win for the Cougs today, putting up a personal best time of 2 minutes and 19.45 seconds in the 800-meter race.
Nicole Yanasak rounded out the day for the Cougs in the Women's Mile, putting up an eighth-place time of 5 minutes and 33.87 seconds.
Washington State will have a month break from the action and continue their season at the UW Preview on January 16th and 17th.
