PULLMAN, Wash. (Nov. 7, 2025) – With the release of the West Coast Conference Women's Tennis Schedule Friday, the Washington State Tennis 2026 slate is complete and begins Sunday, Jan. 18 at the University of Idaho.
The Cougars will be tested early as they compete at the 2026 ITA Kickoff Weekend in Athens, Ga., Jan. 24-25. WSU opens that tournament against San Diego State, which finished last season ranked No. 44 nationally. Their second match that weekend will come against either Georgia (#1) or Maryland (#56).
WSU's first home contest will be Friday, Jan. 30 against Fresno State in Hollingbery Fieldhouse. The Cougars' only home matches in February come against Montana and Montana State in a Feb. 22 doubleheader.
West Coast Conference play begins March 3 when the Cougars host national-ranked Pepperdine, which finished No. 25 last season. During WCC play WSU will also host Loyola Marymount (Mar. 3), Gonzaga (Apr. 4), Seattle (Apr. 11) and Portland (Apr. 12).
The WCC Tennis Championships will be played Apr. 23-25 in Stockton, Calif.
