PULLMAN, Wash. (November 15, 2025) - Washington State posted a 28-3 victory over Louisiana Tech at Gesa Field Saturday night. Check out the postgame notes from the win.

TEAM NOTES
•      WSU captains; Brock Dieu, Joshua Meredith, Caleb Francl, Tucker Large
•      WSU has held five opponents to 10 points or less in 2025 and gone 4-1 in those games
•      WSU allowed just three points, its third game this season allowing single-digit points, the most since 2017
•      WSU allowed just 167 yards of total offense, the fewest yards allowed since 2018 (109, San Jose State, 31-0)
•      WSU held two straight opponents under 200-yards of total offense for the first time since 1994
•      WSU did not allow a touchdown at Colorado State and against Louisiana Tech, the first time holding two FBS opponents without a touchdown in the same season since 1994 (Fresno State, at UCLA, vs. Baylor)
•      WSU rushed for 157 yards, its sixth straight game with 100-plus rushing yards and seventh this season

PLAYER NOTES
•      Brock Dieu made his 31st career start
•      Christian Hilborn made his 43rd career start in his 46th career game, passing Gunner Eklund (OL, 2012-15) for the sixth-most games played in program history
•      Ishmael Gibbs (CB) made his collegiate debut on kickoff coverage in the fourth quarter
•      Zevi Eckhaus threw for 146 yards and one touchdown, also rushed for 56 yards including his first career two-rushing TD game
•      Eckhaus scored his fifth and sixth rushing touchdowns of the season, 11th and 12th of his career
•      Eckhaus' six rushing touchdowns are tied for seventh-most by a quarterback in WSU single-season history
•      Kirby Vorhees matched a career-high with 16 carries, had 76 rushing yards including a 19-yard touchdown run, his third-straight game with a rushing touchdown and fourth in the last five games
•      Joshua Meredith caught his third touchdown pass of the season, finished with five catches for 70 yards
•      Mackenzie Alleyne recorded his first career catch, a nine-yard grab in the fourth quarter
•      Colby Humphrey picked off his first pass of the season, fifth interception of his career, finished with five tackles
•      Malaki Ta'ase recorded a sack for the second straight game, finished with 1.5 sacks
•      Buddha Peleti recorded a sack, owns 2.5 for the season
•      Isaac Terrell shared a sack to push his season tackles-for-loss total to a career-high 10 including career-high five sacks
•      Damarius Russell appeared in his third career game and recorded his first career tackle
•      Kayo Patu appeared in his fifth career game, fourth this season, and his pass breakup on the first-quarter fake punt was his first career stat
•      Tony Freeman's second-quarter 58-yard punt return was a career long, his third punt return of 40-plus yards this season
