PULLMAN, Wash. (Oct. 26, 2025) – Washington State women's basketball had eight different scorers, including three in double-figures, in Sunday's 92-41 exhibition win over Eastern Oregon.
Alex Covill led all scorers with 19 points to go with a game-high five blocks.
Tanja Valancic and
Mackenzie Chatfield shared the team lead with nine rebounds apiece. Valancic added four assists and five points while Chatfield had 12 points, six assists and four steals.
Eleonora Villa tallied 17 points and three steals.
Malia Ruud scored 12 points and had three rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Keandra Koorits had 11 points, and three assists, and
Charlotte Abraham rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Washington State shot an impressive 50.0 percent from the field, including 47.4 percent from beyond the arc while holding EOU to just 27.3 percent from the floor and 16.7 percent from deep. The Cougars also won the turnover battle, outscoring EOU 25-2 in points off turnovers, and also winning 16-6 on second chance points.
