Postgame Notes - Toledo

PULLMAN, Wash. (October 26, 2025) - Washington State posted a 28-7 victory over Toledo at Gesa Field Saturday afternoon. Check out the postgame notes from the Family Weekend win.

TEAM NOTES
•      WSU captains; Caleb Francl, Brock Dieu, Tucker Large, Joshua Meredith
•      WSU rushed for a season-high 162 yards, WSU's fourth-straight game with 100+ rushing yards and fifth this season
•      WSU rushed for two touchdowns, its first game of 2025 with multiple rushing touchdowns
•      WSU's 21 first-half points were the most scored in any half this season
•      WSU has seen 50 players made their Cougar debuts in 2025 including 21 who have made their collegiate debut
•      WSU recorded its second, second-half shutout of the season (at Colorado State) and third shutout half of the season (1st, Idaho)
 
PLAYER NOTES
•      Cale Reeder and (S) and Malaki Ta'ase (DE) each made their first starts as Cougs
•      Noah Dunham made his first career start, started at left guard
•      Jonny Lester made his first start at right tackle, had started previous seven games at left guard
•      Brody Miller (ST) made his collegiate debut on special teams, recorded one tackle on kickoff
•      Titus Miller (DL) made his collegiate debut on defense in the second half
•      Zevi Eckhaus threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed 15 times for 74 yards and a touchdown
•      Eckhaus recorded his fourth rushing touchdown of the season, fifth as a Coug, tenth of his career
•      Eckhaus threw for 159 yards, pushing his career passing yard total over 10,000 (10,037)
•      Kirby Vorhees rushed 15 times for 62 yards and one touchdown, his second touchdown of the season and tenth of his career
•      Joshua Meredith caught four passes for 81 yards including a pair of 40-yard catches
•      Tony Freeman caught his second touchdown of the season
•      Carter Pabst caught his first career touchdown pass, finished with two catches for 49 yards
•      Parker McKenna recorded 10 tackles, one for loss and picked of his second career pass, first as a Coug
•      McKenna's 10 tackles was his third double-digit tackle game of the season and ninth of his career
•      Tucker Large made a career-high 13 tackles including one for loss, his first career double-digit tackle game
•      Jack Janikowski recorded his first career sack, also forced a fumble on the play
