FRESNO, Calif. (October 11, 2025) – Washington State tallied three more wins and finished at the season-opening Fresno State Invite, hosted by Fresno State University Saturday.
WSU opened the day placing third in the 400 medley relay at 3:49.74, senior
Emily Lundgren and sophomore Darcy Lundgren went one-two in the 100 medley, and junior
Jade Castro followed with a third-place finish in the 200 backstroke.
Revitt later won the 100 free with a 50.22, Lundgren followed with a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke before freshman Mychal Morabito and junior
Mehlika Yalcin finished seventh and eighth in the 200 fly, respectively. The Cougars swept the mile as freshman
Avery Bulkley earned her first career win with a 17:05.35, freshman
Sophie Hay was second, senior
Lauren Wille was third and sophomore
Tatum Janning was fourth.
The Cougars closed the meet finishing second in the 400 free relay by freshman
Barbora Mileisyte, sophomore
Issabelle Parrish, Lundgren and Revitt.
A few Cougars will compete at the MPSF Open Water Championships in Long Beach and the next dual meet will be a home contest against Denver Oct. 31.
