PULLMAN, Wash. (Hayden Wysup) – Washington State men's basketball lost to Saint Mary's, 75-80, Saturday night in Beasley Coliseum.
Big Picture: Washington State fell to 15-7 and suffered just its second home loss of the season.
Player Performances: Ethan Price led the team in scoring with 20 points, his fourth of WCC play, along with three triples.
Dane Erikstrup had 16 with three rebounds and two assists.
Nate Calmese scored 16 and
LeJuan Watts had 14 with team-high six assists.
Turning Point: With the Cougars leading for the entire first half and most of the second half, the Gaels went on an 11-2 run to capture the lead and held off a Cougar comeback.
Up Next: The Cougs will travel to Stockton, Calif., to face Pacific, Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Alex G. Spanos Center.
