Cougar Women’s Basketball WCC Schedule Announced

PULLMAN, Wash. (August 6, 2024) – Washington State Women's Basketball's West Coast Conference (WCC) schedule was finalized Tuesday and will feature 20 games, 10 home and 10 on the road.

The Cougars return seven players from last year's team who won 21 games, marking back-to-back 20-win seasons for the program while advancing to its fourth-straight postseason tournament. The 2023-24 Cougars finished 21-15 after earning a No. 1 seed in the inaugural WBIT, where they advanced all the way to the semifinals in Indianapolis, Ind.

The WCC schedule begins on the road at San Diego on December 19 and then at Oregon State on December 21. The Cougs return home after the holiday break to host Pepperdine (Dec. 28) before hitting the road again to play at Pacific (Dec. 30).

WSU begins the new year back in the Palouse, hosting Santa Clara (Jan. 2) and Oregon State (Jan. 4). A January 9 game at Saint Mary's will be followed by a home bout with Gonzaga (Jan. 11), before two more away games at San Francisco (Jan. 16) and Santa Clara (Jan. 18).

The Cougs host Portland (Jan. 23), travel to LMU for a January 25 matchup, and then return to Pullman to take on Pacific (Jan. 30) and San Diego (Feb. 1) as the team enters its final month of the regular season.

WSU will take the short trip up to Gonzaga on February 8, host LMU (Feb. 13) and then travel to Portland (Feb. 15). The final two home games for the Cougars will be against San Francisco (Feb. 20) and Saint Mary's (Feb. 22) before playing the season finale at Pepperdine (Feb. 27).

The WCC Tournament will be held at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and is scheduled for March 6-11.
