Women’s Golf Set to Open Spring Schedule at Pac-12 Preview

PULLMAN, Wash. (February 18, 2023) – The Washington State women's golf team is ready to open their spring schedule at the Pac-12 Preview on the big island of Hawaii.
The Course and Tournament Format
The 2024 Pac-12 Preview will be held at Nanea Golf Club in Hawaii. The course will play as a par-73 at 6,449 yards.
Teams will play 18 holes each day from Feb. 19-21, with a 9:30 a.m. PT shotgun start each morning.

The Field
In addition to Washington State and host Washington, the field includes Stanford, USC, UCLA, Arizona, California, Oregon State, Colorado, San Jose State, Hawaii and San Diego State.

Last Time Out
Freshman Alice Johansson shot a 2-under-par, 70, to lead Washington State on the final round at the Jim West Challenge, played at the par-72, 6,132-yard Kissing Tree Golf Club. The Cougars finished the three-round tournament at 26-over, 890, and in 13th place. SMU captured the team title followed by Texas Tech and Houston.
WSU Golf
Head Coach Sofie Aagaard is in her second season leading the Cougars. The 2023-24 Cougar squad returns four members from the 2022-23 squad, including junior Madelyn Gamble, who ended last season with a third-place finish at the 2023 Pac-12 Golf Championships.
