Cougar Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

PULLMAN, Wash. (October 29, 2024) – Washington State Baseball will open the season at Arkansas, compete in the Kleberg Bank College Classic in Texas, face Iowa in a nonconference series and host six home series at Bailey-Brayton Field in 2025, head coach Nathan Choate announced Tuesday.
 
The Cougars will host five Mountain West Conference series in their first season competing in the MWC.
 
WSU will head to SEC country to open the season with a four-game series at Arkansas Feb. 14-17. The Cougars are 3-7 all-time against the Razorbacks and most recently met in Fayetteville to open the 2009 season and followed with a pair of meetings during the 2010 NCAA Regional hosted by Arkansas.
 
The following two weeks will see Washington State play eight games in the state of Texas beginning with three games at the Kleberg Bank College Classic Feb. 21-23 hosted by Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The tournament will feature games against the hosts Texas A&M CC along with UCLA and Michigan State. WSU will be facing Texas A&M CC and Michigan State for the first time in program history.
 
Following the tournament, the Cougars will play a single-game against the hosts Texas A&M Corpus Christi Feb. 24 before matching up against Iowa for four games played in Cleburne, Texas Feb. 27 – March 2. Week four will see the Cougars open up their home schedule with a three-game series against Seattle U March 7-9 before heading to Corvallis for a two-game set at Oregon State March 11-12.
 
In mid-March, WSU opens Mountain West Conference play with a series at Air Force March 14-16 before hosting San Diego State for a weekend series March 21-23 and Gonzaga March 25. The Cougars will close out March with a series at Nevada March 28-30 and open April with a matchup at Gonzaga April 1 before hosting San Jose State April 4-6 and San Francisco April 7. WSU heads to New Mexico April 11-13, hosts Nevada April 17-19 and heads to California for a single game at UC Davis April 23 and a weekend series at Fresno State April 25-27.
 
The Cougars host Gonzaga April 29, welcome Air Force to Bailey-Brayton Field May 2-4, heads to Seattle U for a single game May 6 before closing out the home schedule May 9-11 hosting UNLV. WSU will close out the final week of the regular season with a single-game at Gonzaga May 13 and a Thursday-Saturday series at San Diego State.
 
The Mountain West Conference Tournament is scheduled for May 21-24 with the site to be determined. 2025 NCAA Regionals are set for May – June 1 with NCAA Super Regionals scheduled for June 6-8 and the College World Series set for June 14-23.
