PULLMAN, Wash. (Oct. 24, 2024) – Washington State Athletics announced Thursday it has added a road contest at Colorado State to its 2025 football schedule.
 
The game at Colorado State is scheduled for Sept. 27, 2025, at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colo. The contest marks the fourth meeting in the all-time series between the two programs dating back to 2013. WSU holds a series advantage of 2-1, with wins in 2022 and 2023.
 
Additionally, the Cougars have announced a date change for the Virginia contest next year in Charlottesville. Originally scheduled for Sept. 27, 2025, that date has been moved to Oct. 18, 2025.
 
The addition of Colorado State to the 2025 schedule is the second game announced this week by WSU, as WSU and Oregon State added a second meeting in 2025, the contest being Nov. 1 in Corvallis. To date, the Cougars have announced 11 opponents for its 2025 schedule. Previously, the Cougars had announced home contests against Idaho, Louisiana Tech, Oregon State, San Diego State, Toledo and Washington, while WSU will travel to Ole Miss, North Texas, Oregon State and Virginia.
