PULLMAN, Wash. (October 18, 2024) – Washington State Women's Rowing is set to open its 2024-25 season on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Head of the Spokane.
The Cougars hit the water Saturday morning on the Spokane River at 9:05 a.m. PT flight one, starting with the 1V8 with
Lucy Munro stroking and
Vera Lichvarcik in the coxswain's seat. Then will be the 2V8 at 9:08 a.m. with
Saskia Steltman in the stroke seat and
Phoebe Nagy leading, then the 3V8 at 9:10 a.m. (

Sara Torres), novice eight A boat at 9:15 a.m. (
Kate Schroeder/
Avary Wagner), V4A at 9:16 a.m. (
Natalie Spring/Tiger Lily Brin) and V4B at 9:17 a.m. (
Kennedy Cardona/
Hailey Littlefield).
Then the second flight begins at 10:51 a.m. with the 4VA (
Makayla Tuley/
Sara Torres) and then the 4VB at 10:53 a.m. (
Daniella Vicente/
Tiger Lily Brim), 4V8 at 10:58 a.m. (
Natalie Spring/
Phoebe Nagy), and novice eight B boat at 11:00 a.m. (
Kate Schroeder/Ainsley Conn).
WSU will wrap up flight two with pairs at 11:06 a.m.:
Next weekend, the Cougs continue the fall portion of their schedule at the Head of the American on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.
