SEATTLE / SPOKANE, Wash. — Washington State men's and women's track and field teams continued to see its freshman capture headlines as the teams wrapped up another weekend on the indoor schedule at both the Inland NW Invitational and UW Invitational Saturday.
Zenah Cheptoo captured a WSU freshman record in the women's mile, and first-year pole vaulters

As Cheptoo continued to burst onto the scene from the West side of the state, Seattle native,
Grant Buckmiller, added to his impressive rookie resume from The Podium in Spokane, finishing with a first-place finish and a WSU freshman record in the men's 400-meter at 46.45.
