PULLMAN, Wash. (January 20, 2024) – Washington State Swimming claimed three events in a dual with fourth-ranked USC at Gibb Pool Saturday morning.

The Cougars saw sophomore
Dori Hathazi win the 200 fly (1:59.93), sophomore
Emily Lundgren claim the 200 breast (2:15.03) and freshman
Ariel Wang pick up her first career victory after winning the 200 IM (2:04.60). Southern California posted a 133.5-104.5 win.
WSU opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay before junior
Noelle Harvey touched second in the mile at 16:56.42 and junior
Anna Rauchholz finished second in the 100 back (56.37). Lundgren was impressive in the breaststroke events, finishing second in the 100 and won the 200 by nearly seven seconds. Senior
Kiana Swain finished in a close second in the 200 back while Hathazi was second in the 100 fly and Lundgren closed her day finishing behind Wang in the 200 IM, good for second.

The Cougars return to competition in two weekends, hosting Utah Feb. 2 before closing the regular season Feb. 3 at Idaho.
