Kyle Manzardo (1B/DH), Cleveland Guardians: Started in three of the four games in the Twins series, going six for nine with four RBIs and three runs scored. Hit a go-ahead two-run home run on Monday to give Cleveland a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth. Also, he went three for three with a solo home run Thursday morning to round out the Twins series. Manzardo is batting .258 in 124 at-bats in his debut season in the MLB. The Guardians are currently sitting at the top of the AL Central with 6.5 games in hand of second-place Kansas City. With their 3-2 win in 10 innings over the Twins on Thursday, the Guardians clinch a spot in the playoffs for the sixth time in the past nine years.

Ian Hamilton (RHP), New York Yankees: Recorded a save in the bottom of the 10th of Wednesday night's game against the Mariners with two strikeouts and only allowed one hit. This win clinched a playoff berth for the Yankees. In the 34 innings pitched by Hamilton, he has 38 strikeouts, resulting in ten holds and a save this season. The Yankees are at the top of the AL East, five games ahead of the second-place Orioles with ten games to play.
 
Ryan Walker (RHP), San Francisco Giants: Closed the game on Wednesday against the Orioles. Walker recorded a save with a strikeout and did not allow a hit or walk. Walker is 9-3 on the season in 76.1 innings pitched. He has 21 holds and eight saves with 96 strikeouts.
