PULLMAN, Wash. — Graduate transfer
Lana Radakovic had a career-high four aces as Washington State women's volleyball (3-1) tied the 3-set match record with 14 as a team in a 3-0 win (25-13, 25-11, 25-11) over Northwestern State (0-5).
Washington State finished with a .360 hitting percentage as a team as
Iman Isanovic and
Katy Ryan each led the way with 11 kills apiece.
Argentina Ung dished out 31 assists with three kills and six digs in the first home win of the year for the Cougs.
The win brings head coach
Jen Greeny just one win shy of their 100th as a coaching staff in Bohler Gym, on a day in which the Cougs hosted the first official matches on their brand new floor and renovated gym.
Shea Rubright saw her first game action since a season-ending injury in 2022 and took a big swing for a kill on her very first touch of the match. Rubright finished with four total swings in her return to action.
The Cougs will see a quick turnaround as they get set to play Drake tonight beginning at 7:30 p.m. PST back in Bohler Gym.
