WALNUT, Calif./ AZUSA, Calif. — Freshman sprinter
Louie Hinchliffe lowered his season-best time in the 100-meter dash to 10.22,
Elise Unruh-Thomas (23.71) and
Jasneet Nijjar (23.77) moved into sixth and seventh all-time at WSU in the women's 200-meter dash and
Washington State men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up their week competing alongside some of the top track and field talent in the world between both the Mt SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational.
The Cougs tallied 18 season-best times and marks across the two meets on Saturday as Washington State saw four new top-10 all-time marks in the final day of competition from Southern California.
Mt SAC Relays Recap
On the final day from Mt San Antonio College, Louie Hinchliffe lowered his season and lifetime best in the 100-meter dash with a blistering 10.22 to place 10
th in the men's elite field. Making her first appearance of the outdoor season, Micalea De Mello ran a 13.64 to place 10
th in the women's 100-meter hurdles elite competition.
Amy Kraemer climbed the WSU women's hammer throw all-time list into 10th after posting a 55.33m to place 20th just ahead of teammate Tara Koonce who finished 26th with a mark of 52.60m.
Bryan Clay Invitational
In the women's 200-meter dash,
Elise Unruh-Thomas (23.71) and
Jasneet Nijjar (23.77) each hit new personal-best times to move into sixth and seventh, respectively, on the all-time list at Washington State.
Mason Lawyer placed sixth in the men's 200m at 21.16 and
Parker Duskin clocked a new personal best in the men's 110m hurdles at 14.48.
Daylon Hicks cleared 2.07m, a new season and personal best mark, to win the men's high jump while teammate
Taino Ferdinand cleared a season-best 2.02m to finish fourth.
Anna Rodgers jumped to a season-best mark of 6.08 in the long jump and finished seventh overall in the women's competition.

The Cougars head into their final fortnight of pre-championship meets next week as they get set to head to the Wildcat Invitational (Apr. 23) in Ellensburg, Wash., followed by the Fresno State Invitational (Apr. 28-29) to conclude April's competition schedule. The Cougars will turn the page to championship season in May beginning with the 2023 Pac-12 Championships back at Mt San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.
