Ashly Berge Set to Join Cougar Soccer

PULLMAN, Wash. – Rising senior forward Ashly Berge, a three-year letterwinner at Boise State University, signed to play soccer at Washington State University next fall, Cougar Head Coach Todd Shulenberger announced Friday. Berge played three years at Boise State, twice being named Academic All-Mountain West selection, while playing 15 games this fall.
 
Berge played 54 matches for the Broncos with 29 starts. During the 2023 season, Berge scored the match-winner in 2-1 victory over Colorado College (Sept. 21). As a sophomore in 2022, the Bothell, Washington native scored her first career goal and matched Boise State's program record with an assist in three straight games.
 
A graduate of Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, Wash, Berge led her team to an undefeated season in 2021 and was named KingCo All-League First Team and KingCo All-League Offensive MVP. On the club side, Berge played for Crossfire Premier's 03 ENCL team, winning the 2021 ECNL Northwest Region.
 
Berge majored in Integrated Media and Strategic Communication at Boise State.
