MOSCOW, Idaho -- Washington State men's and women's indoor track team wrapped up the Lauren McCluskey Invitational with four podium finishes between the two teams Saturday at the Kibbie Dome. The Cougars landed multiple top-two finishes as the throws squad continued to have success in the early part of the indoor season with first-place (
Nana Gyedu) and second-place (
Ronald Grueso Mosqquera) finishes in the men's and women's shot put, respectively.
Women's Recap:
The freshman shot put record holder Nana Gyedu won her second straight meet with a mark of 14.52m. Gyedu has landed a podium finish in every meet this season.

Gracie Strickland landed a massive person best throw of 13.01 to take 6
th.
Suzy Pace snatched up a second-place tie with a leap of 1.64 in the high jump and
Ashley Hollenbeck earned a podium finish with a personal best time of 7.84 in the 60-meter dash to finish third.

Ronald Grueso Mosqquera landed a second-place finish as his throw landed 16.51m out.
Sophomore Bode Brewer sprinted to a personal best time of 6.91 in the 60m.
Freshman Lee Walburn was a scratch in the final event of the heptathlon, but sat in second place until that point with 3492 total points.
