Young Cougars shine in UW Indoor Preview

SEATTLE, Wash.--  The young Washington State men's distance squad ventured to the west side of the state to compete in the UW Preview Saturday at the Dempsey Indoor Facility. The entire team put up personal bests in their respective events while competing against some of the top distance squads in the country. 
 
Freshman Alec Barran (4:28.69) set a personal best in the mile run. Aiden Emerson (8:23.55), another freshman also stood out for WSU with a personal-best time mile while Grayson Wilcott crossed the finish line right behind Emerson in 37th overall

UP NEXT:
Next weekend the Cougars will take a quick trip across the border to Moscow, Idaho to compete in the Idaho McCluskey Memorial Open (January 21st) in the Kibbie Dome.
