Cougars Sign Yura Nakagawa to National Letter of Intent

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Head Tennis Coach Raquel Atawo announced Thursday that Yura Nakagawa has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Cougar Tennis program in the Fall of 2022.
"We are so happy to welcome Yura to the team," said Atawo. "Her work ethic and fighting spirit will be a great addition to the program."
Nakagawa, from Yokohama, Japan, is accomplished junior player on the ITF circuit. She captured the ITF G5 Yamanashi event in late 2020, was runner-up at the G3 Saitama tournament in 2020 and in 2018 was the Japan National Junior High School Champion.
