The Cougars will see some familiar faces on the course as they are joined by Gonzaga, BYU, and Idaho, which all participated in last week's Cougar Cup.

COACH KAMIMURA ON THE TOURNAMENT - "With golf it seems like it's always the same things. Keeping focused on what we can control. Keeping focused on what we want to do and what's next. Coeur D'Alene is a lot of fun. We get to play out there on our retreat and we're at Coeur D'Alene resort so it's an awesome venue. We're excited for another week of competition."

REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE - Competing for the Cougars will be the same scoring-five as last week's Cougar Cup led by senior Marie Lund-Hansen along with sophomore Darcy Habgood, sophomore Amy Chu, redshirt-junior Emily Baumgart, and freshman Jiye Ham with sophomore Cameron March golfing individually.

LAST TIME ON THE COURSE - The Cougars opened up their season with a strong fifth place finish in their home tournament, the Cougar Cup. Leading the way for the Cougars were senior Marie Lund-Hansen and sophomore Darcy Habgood both shooting a 211 (-5) and placed in a tie for fifth. In her first career Cougar Cup, Habgood shot all three rounds under par for the first time since Lund-Hansen dominated the course at the 2017 Ron Moore Intercollegiate.  The Cougars will look to build off their performance from last week. Coach Kelli Kamimura said "It was a good start, but there's a lot left to do out there".

COACHING STAFF - The team is led by 11th-year head coach Kelli Kamimura, who led the team to a the WSU Cougar Cup victory in 2017-18, the last year the tournament was held. WSU alumna Emma (Betland) White is entering her fifth season as an assistant coach. (Betland) White golfed at WSU from 2010-13.
