2019-20 Crimson Girls Announced

The Washington State dance team, the Crimson Girls, has named its squad for the coming year.

PULLMAN, Wash. - After two days of tryouts, the 2019-20 Washington State dance team, the Crimson Girls, have been named, head coach and assistant spirit squad coordinator, Kaila Evenoff, announced.

Those interested in joining the team were asked to send in a tryout video. From that group 30 finalists were invited for an on-campus audition in Pullman. Twenty of the 30 finalists were chosen to be a part of the team this upcoming season, 12 of those members are from out of state.

"This is the first year that we choose to do a video audition before our on-campus audition, and we definitely saw the benefits from changing up the process," said Evenoff. "We knew the amount of talent we had walking in the door and were able to challenge them more throughout the weekend because of it. I am excited to work with this group of athletes this year, not only because they are so talented, but because they have the character to do some really great things!"
