EUGENE, Ore. –Washington State men's golf finished 12th in the three-day Pac-12 Championships, hosted by Oregon, Wednesday at the Eugene Country Club.
The Cougars finished with a four-round score of 1541 (+121). No. 17 Stanford (-7, 1413) jumped back into first place at the conclusion of the tournament as the only team under par throughout the four rounds. No. 32 UCLA (E, 1420) took second, just one stroke ahead of No. 12 California (+1, 1421) in third.
No. 2 Arizona State (+23, 1443) was 22 strokes behind third, coming in fourth. No. 39 Oregon tied for fifth with Utah, both with scores of 1451 (+31). No.6 USC (+32, 1452) dropped three spots into seventh, only a stroke behind fifth. Washington (+44, 1464) finished in eighth. No. 44 Arizona (+50, 1470) finished in 9th, 10 strokes ahead of Colorado (+60, 1480) in 10th. No. 50 Oregon State held 11th with a score of 1493 (+73).
Junior
Daniel Kolar led the way for the Cougars, tying for 46th after scoring a 297 (+13) throughout four rounds. Junior Scott Redeslperger (+17, 301) finished in a tie for 54th. Junior
Nicklaus Chiam (+24, 308) tied for 63rd. Senior
Grant Cole (+36, 320) finished with sole possession of 70th, just three strokes ahead of sophomore
Ryan Maine (+39, 323) in 71st. Senior
AJ Armstrong rounded off the Cougars in 72nd with a score of 325 (+41).
No. 2 Colin Morikawa (-12, 272) of California held his first-place position to win the tournament. Kyler Dunkle of Utah took second with a score of 276 (-8), just three strokes ahead of Cole Madey (-5, 279) of UCLA in third.
