Pac-12 Championships Continue Through the Third Round

Teams have competed through two days of conference championships, with one still to go.

EUGENE, Ore. – Washington State Men's golf remains in 12th at the end of the third round of the Pac-12 Championships hosted by Oregon, Tuesday at the Eugene Country Club.
 
Through three rounds of play, the Cougars have a score of 1141 (+76). No. 12 California (-15, 1050) jumped two places into first, ahead of No.32 UCLA (-12, 1053) in second. No. 17 Stanford dropped two places into third with a score of 1054 (-11).
 
Three ranked Pac-12 teams sit directly behind the top three teams. No. 6 USC (+8, 1073) is in fourth. No. 39 Oregon (+9, 1074) is in fifth, while No. 2 Arizona State (+14, 1079) is in a tie for sixth. No 44. Arizona (+22, 1087) jumped two spots into eighth, and No. 50 Oregon State (+48, 1113) rounds off the ranked teams, remaining in 11th.
 
Juniors Daniel Kolar and Scott Redelsperger are tied for 45th, both with scores of 221 (+8). Junior Nicklaus Chiam (+13, 226) is in a tie for 59th. Senior Grant Cole has sole possession of 70th, with a score of 239 (+26), just one stroke ahead of sophomore Ryan Maine (+27, 240) in 71st. Senior AJ Armstrong (+31, 244) rounds off the team in 72nd. 
 
No. 2 Collin Morikawa of California jumped five spots into first with a three-round score of 202 (-11). Kyler Dunkle (-10, 203) of Utah is just one stroke behind in second. No. 4 Justin Suh of USC and Cole Madey (-8, 205) of UCLA are tied for third.
 
The Pac-12 Championships will conclude Wednesday. The fourth and final round will tee off at 8 a.m. Washington State will tee off at 9:06 a.m. from the 10th hole.
